  5. Black Ink & Grey Wash Mixing

MODULE 3｜ART, DESIGN & BODY PLACEMENT

  1. Art Fundamentals for Tattooing

  2. Digital Tattoo Design & Procreate Workflow

  3. Stencil Preparation, Placement & Body Flow

  4. Body Anatomy & Tattoo Placement

  5. Tattoo Size, Scale & Long-Term Longevity

  6. Colour Theory for Skin

MODULE 4｜CORE TATTOO TECHNIQUES

  1. Linework & Machine Control

  2. Black & Grey Shading Techniques

  3. Colour Packing, Blending & Transitions 

  4. Working with Different Skin Types & Skin Tones

  5. Tattoo Troubleshooting & Common Mistakes

Black & Grey Shading Techniques include:
Grey Wash, Whip Shading, Pendulum Shading, Brush Shading, Smooth Gradients, Value Control & Contrast Control.

MODULE 5｜PRACTICE, LIVE TATTOOING & WORKFLOW

  1. Synthetic Skin Practice & Technique Development

  2. Supervised Live Tattoo Application 

  3. Client Positioning & Artist Ergonomics

  4. Tattoo Session Planning & Time Management

 The Horizon Tattoo is dedicated to training committed and capable tattoo artists through structured, hands-on learning.
 

Course fee : SGD 9,000

​

* Essential materials: including 1 set of machine, needles, practice ink, and hygiene items, are provided.
* Weekend access to the studio is available for additional practice on synthetic skin only (no tattooing on live models).
* Certificates will be issued only to students who meet the course standards and successfully complete all requirements.
